Camille asked:
My Mom always did. She would be yelling at Joe Montana during a football game, or cheering on USC, or yelling at the people in Murder She Wrote.
So I come from a long line of siblings that did it too.
I do it as well. I interact with the show I am watching.
My son thinks I am odd. I think he is odd for other reasons. ROTFL
If you liked my question please give me a star.
Thanks!
My son yells at football and baseball games on tv. He just thinks I should sit quietly and watch I. LOL He is a dreamer. lol
Randy- red of course! lol

My parents do that ALL the time.
I always say “They can’t hear you”
In movies, I will talk to the stupid person that does something they shouldn’t.
I don’t with the news, and only at times during shows.
Don’t worry, your not the only one

Well come to think about it, yes sometimes I do. Especially during a football match or when watching a film and I want one of the characters to do something.

my grandma does that all the time.. she isnt old or anything,.. like 50.. but oh my goodness.. she will say “oh so and so i dont know why you are doing this to yourself” and im like her grams.. they cant hear you… and she will say “oh… yeah i know haha.” but then turns around and does it 5 minutes later haha.. good stuff.

Yes, I do that! Even when i’m watching reruns on Bravo, I still talk to them like they’re going to do something different. >>

I personally do not talk to the TV as much as I talk to myself. If someone I disagree that should have gone home on Project Runway I say out loud, “Oh My God, what were they thinking?!” However my mom does like to talk to the television a lot. It seems like she has personal conversations with people and characters on various shows. It all depends on how you feel and what makes you feel comfortable. One way doesn’t make you any weirder than another person. Just because you are more into the show than your son, doesn’t mean that you will just as into the same shows he will be yelling at.

People like that cannot go to the cinema.

I just said something to you a minute ago!
WELL?……..
RED or GREEN??????
Johnny
Yes I do. I talk to the news and almost all of the baseball and football I just thought of something ————–Maybe that’s why I have the room all to myself.

it must be an older person trait because I do it all the time. Sometimes I have to turn the TV Volume up so I can hear the TV over my yelling and screaming. hehehe.
I do it to movies, commercials, news, actually just about everrything i watch where I feel a comment should be made like
”
Behind the door! He’s behind the door! Look out!”
“Pick case number 12″
“Where did you learn to act?”
“eeww, you got an awful voice!”
“Cmon! Pass the ball.. pass the ball. Oh, don”t kick it to the opposition, you dunderhead. Gosh!”
Phyllis
No. Well, sometimes to express how incredibly cheesy I think a certain scene is. My dad, though, is like WHOA! He CANNOT not comment during a movie. Any and every movie he watches.
Todd
My late grandfather was more than that. If he is watching a soccer and you are sitting next to him he would shout and kick you and continue watching the soccer as though nothing has happened. He was obsessed with every sport even the boxing, he would jump into his chair and bit whoever is on his way. He usually forgets that he is watching the sports in the television he thought that he is the one who is playing.
Unlike me when I am watching the television and I see somebody hurt I will cry and feel the pain with that particular person, It can’t even hide the feeling, I just burst with tears. That’s enough about me.

It depends on what show I am watching but yes I have done that and I also catch Larry doing it to.I say it is just acting but it still makes me mad.Good question, thanks for asking.
